If College is About Making More Money, You Might Want to Reconsider, Part 2

I've decided to keep this headline and follow the number of stories and research about the value of college degrees. Interesting how the college discussion has moved from one of justifying college as a time for developing intellect, social awareness, and personal cultivation into a job training program that can be measured based on your return on investment.

Here's a great graphic that illustrates one of the large issues that politicians and educators who continue to push everyone into a 4-year college program refuse to acknowledge: earnings from a college degree have decreased over time while costs from a college degree have escalated.

Thank you for this post! I understand many go to college to make more money in the long run but what plays a part the most here are life experience degrees. Most should not go to college to make the most money, but to learn and get a job doing what you love most. I went to college to progress in my field and I plan on going back to school one day to pick up something else. When choosing what degree you want, make sure to choose the best college to get that degree at. Once again, thank you for this exciting post. Hope this finds you and many well. Have a great day!

Nowadays, it is very important that you finished a degree... not just to earn money but to be able to do more things that you love... to improve yourself and to help others as well. This blog would surely enlighten others and motivate them more to pursue their dreams.
